I'm from Wisconsin, but live in California now and came here with my brother and sister-in-law. I'm getting divorced, and my brother wants to fix me up with a Wisconsin guy! I love Wisconsin guys! When we came in, my brother saw his friend sitting at the bar and went to talk to him. My brother came back to our table and asked me what I thought about his friend. I said that he was overweight, at least 20 pounds. My brother said that his friend makes a lot of money, and I asked what he does. He said that he's a custom manure pumper! You don't want to know what that is!! I asked what the guy smells like, and my brother said that he "smells like shit." I said that it was a definite "no." Then my brother says, "He's a virgin!" I thought about it for about 2 seconds, and said, "How bad does he smell?" LOL Now on to the review!!! The place has the greatest collection of stuff on the walls and ceilings. The soft garlic and onion bread sticks were heavenly, so hot and fresh, served with the tastiest, warm, cheese sauce. We shared a pizza, half pepperoni, and half sausage, green pepper and onion. It was one of the best pizzas I ever had!

First off they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT or DEBIT!! And are glad to have you use the 2$ fee ATM. Food is decent. Had Italian beef, not too bad, had overpowering pepper flavor. Wife and mother in law had sausage pizza, they enjoyed the crust mostly. We ordered a bucket of five beers coronas and dos Equis, the waitress then brings us three limes.. STALE DRY LIMES AND ONLY 3!! The young kid that she had helping did a better job than she did. Gee don't know what else to say if you like it and can deal with it more power to you.

Upper Crust is really as good as it gets. Food quality, customer service and delivery people all very good. The food was DELICIOUS!!! Onion bread with cheese dip appetizer was seriously tasty, not at all greasy. We enjoyed our dinner on Friday so much we ordered from them Saturday too (different food equally as good)!

Love upper crust. It is a little expensive but I think they have the best pizza in the area. Their soft onion breadsticks are great also.

One star is not for food quality it is for several other things. #1 owner does not care about customer concerns, I brought several issues to her attention and even told her I would not be back and she did not give me any compensation. She had an excuse for everything #2 they charge for 2 toppings when you get half and half. According to the owner, it is because the cooks have to stop to put more toppings on. $17 for a half sausage half pepperoni 14" #3 it is absolutely freezing!!! Bring a sweater !! #4 they are so incredibly slow!!!! It took an hour and a half from start to finish #5 they only take cash, can you say tax fraud??? Pizza is good but so not worth the hassle. Wayne's pizza is just as good and they make you feel welcome and appreciated

Have come here for years - love the pizza however tonight was a different story-service was horrible and appetizers which we waited 20 minutes for and finally got when we interrupted the waitress who was standing around talking was cold. And only three other tables were filled. Disappointing!!

Half hour wait for a table. 10 minute wait after being seated to even see a waitress. Another 10-15 minutes after getting our drinks before she took our food order, then it was at least 30 minutes before we got our mediocre food. It was so loud we couldn't even carry on a conversation. The waitress kept forgetting things, and then then I find out they don't take credit cards! Supposedly this place used to be good, but it's sure not any more!

There pizza is great. I love the Country Boy specialty pizza. It has lots of meat on it. So good. The rest of the food is not great. I am not a fan of the fries, burgers, nachos, or spaghetti. I used to love the veggie app but they got rid of that. Their potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream were my faves. The last 2 times it has been really greasy. Yuck.

First of all, the positive reviews seem fishy to me. I think they are fake. We've loved here for 4 years and have probably preferred from here at least a dozen times. The girl on the phone is usually friendly. Except today... when I asked her the ingredients list she could hardly name 5 and said just the standard ones. Okay, thanks for the help lady I'm on the road. Every single time we go, the people are very ride and act like your a burden to them. Cash or checks only... let's enter the 21st century, shall we? Half the time, an order is never ready when they say it will be. The food is mediocre. I wouldn't go there I'd my husband didn't like the pizza so much. I prefer businesses that appreciate their customers. Especially small ones like upper crust. Wasn't to point out that this is my first review on yelp. It was a pain to get going but my continued poor experiences led me to go thru thirds hassle. I don't know how they've managed to stay in business by their poor attitudes.

Good pizza but not great. We order a pizza and it was cooked to order and tasty. It was ready in time and friendly people. Will go back again

This is a great place. We have been coming here close to 20 years and it is always "As Good as it Gets." The pizza is great, the prices are fair, the folks are quite nice and their is a wide variety of items to choose from on the menu. Go with the PIZZA, it is the best! Upper Crust is very family friendly, it has a small area with a few pinball machines and video games for the kids while you wait to be seated. Getting a table will take about 20-30 minutes on the weekends in the summer months. There are soooo many random decorations all over the walls and ceiling of this restaurant that our kids used to call it "The Eye-Spy Restaurant". The decorations make for great fun while waiting on food to be delivered to the table. I would highly recommend anyone go. Especially if you have kids. It's good family fun!

2nd trip, similar results both times. Pizza is good, not great. Crust is very good. Cheese, sauce and toppings are just not high quality. Gyro was a waste of money. $5.99 for just the gyro, 6 thin slices of gyro meat, not the good stuff sliced fresh as you order. No refills on fountain drinks (they don't mention that, just ask if you want another and charge you) Server did not check back often, lots of empty glasses on the table. Really wanted to like this place more, which is why we went a 2nd time. $43 for a Pepperoni pizza, a gyro, moz sticks and fountain soda for 4 is a little steep, especially for mediocre quality.

A nice little casual family-owned resturant in Pell Lake, WI, an unincorporated cottage community about 5 miles south of Lake Geneva, WI, and about 2 miles north of Genoa City, WI. Their thin crust pizza is REALLY good, and not very expensive. They also have good sandwiches - I especially like the baked meatball sandwich, and my husband loves the baked Italian beef sandwich. You can eat in their friendly, strangely decorated dining room (with tiny bar), or order to go. The to-go waiting area has pin-ball machines (always fun!), and you can buy some specialty desserts, a loaf of home-made bread, ice cream and a few other things. Yummy food, and not expensive - not a common thing near Lake Geneva! Closed Mondays.

I love their thin crust pizza. Others in the family have tried fried chicken breast and gave it 2 thumbs up. They sell home-made bread for $ 1.00 a loaf and it's GREAT! Wait times can be long during tourist season but they do now offer delivery which could be a good alternative. I don't know if they actually make it but their chocolate mousse was great.
